Patrick Michael Megaro is a partner at Halscott Megaro PA. He launched his legal career in 2001 by working at The Legal Aid Society Criminal Defense Division in Manhattan, New York City as a public defender. During his employment at Legal Aid, he worked with many clients who were accused of misdemeanors and major felony offenses, he obtained useful trial exposure fighting in court regularly securing the rights of clients within the area of criminal law.
A native of New York, Patrick Megaro played Division I college football along with rugby at Hofstra University before completing a degree from Hofstra Law School. During the time Patrick was at Hofstra Law, Mr. Megaro discovered his call in life acting as a litigator and courtroom attorney. While in law school, he was an intern at The Legal Aid Society in Queens, New York City. Mr. Megaro excelled at the Hofstra Law Clinic, where he was awarded the Leon Stern Award for criminal defense advocacy from the Nassau County Criminal Courts Bar Association.
